today i got my hands in the earth and planted tomato plants, hydrangeas and petunias (for a bit of colour in the vegetable garden) now that spring has sprung. i also planted a small herb garden: parsley, mint, sage, rosemary and thyme to be ready for when i move into my new apartment to keep on the kitchen windowsill. i also planted a daisy plant in an old tin billy i found in the shed.
